The Art of Letting Go
My ballpoint pen drawings are a departure from precision—loose, messy, and instinctive. Sketched on warm-toned tan paper with added white gel pen highlights, they embrace imperfection and spontaneity. These pieces are created in fleeting moments—quiet times spent drawing alongside my son, waiting in airports, or simply allowing my hand to move without overthinking.
In contrast to my more meticulous work, these drawings are a form of release, a space where creativity flows freely. They remind me that art doesn’t always have to be controlled to be meaningful—sometimes, the most honest expressions come from letting go.
